Purpose of Position:
The Order Fulfilment Manager will help manage their Department. In this role, they will help coach and train employees to achieve company goals.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Responsible for accurate picking, packing, and palletizing to meet the current 7-day shipping schedule implemented by upper management.
• Manage, maintain, and report as necessary all inventory issues and concerns.
• Assist General Manager in planning and implementing inventory layout and pick route so as to maximize picking efficiencies.
• Manage upkeep and condition of all equipment and supplies.
• Manage performance (i.e. performance review, corrective action, coaching, development, etc.) efficiently and effectively. Takes a proactive stance on providing counseling and corrective action after partnering with the GM and HR.
• Responsible to maintain a 99% picking accuracy rate.
• Analyze and control picking operations to ensure maximum efficiency and accuracy. Document and communicate all specific procedure-related guidance.
• Monitor performance trends and workload of the department to ensure satisfactory productivity, service standards, and quality of work.
• Continuously gather data to develop alternative methods to improve productivity, accuracy, service, shortage, and cost.
Requirements
Qualifications:
• Must be familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Warehouse Management Solutions Software.
• Must have good people skills and strong problem-solving capabilities.
Education and Training:
High School Diploma, or equivalent.
Physical Requirements:
This position involves a variety of physical activities including talking, hearing, and repetitive motions. The Picking Manager must be able to lift 50 lbs. Visual acuity is required for inventory stocking and reports analysis.
Travel Requirements:
This position does not require travel.
