Description

Purpose of Position:

The Junior Recruiter, under the direction of the Corporate Recruiter, will coordinate all recruitment activities and support for the Distribution Center.  The Junior Recruiter will ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state and local employment laws.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Participating in candidate sourcing efforts
  • Posting job openings via approved sites
  • Scheduling and conducting initial screening interviews
  • Presenting job offers, coordinate start dates for new hires
  • Acting as the liaison between the Distribution Center and third-party temporary staffing agencies
  • Maintaining recruiting metrics
  • Planning and preparing for peak season staffing
  • Coordinating background/drug screening process for the Distribution Center
  • Partnering with hiring managers to bring in quality talent through consistent communication and feedback
  • Promoting a positive candidate experience, communicating promptly throughout the hiring process
  • Flexibility to work evenings, nights and/or weekends as required
  • All other duties as assigned


Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
  • High degree of accuracy, attention to detail and confidentiality
  • Excellent analytical and written/verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with the recruitment life cycle

Education/Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience in Human Resources, Business Administration, or similar field preferred

Travel Requirements:

This position may require some travel.
