Description

Purpose of Position:

The Firearm Services Coordinator will provide organizational support for firearm services, and associated divisions, within the company as part of day to day operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Data entry into internal systems for firearms set up
  • Enter and support internal sign builder program for used firearm gun tag creation
  • Support ATF Compliance team in systematic review of firearm set up
  • Provide store support for facilitation of transfers
  • Communicate effectively within corporate office departments and retail store locations
  • Teach and train stores in evaluating and buying firearms
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • A working knowledge of firearms and firearm manufacturers, firearm terminology, as well as understanding of firearm accessories and calibers
  • Ability and willingness to work cooperatively with others.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Solid time management skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to be responsive to changing business needs, manage and prioritize concurrent assignments
  • An excellent knowledge of Office software, such as Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.


Requirements

Education/Experience:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required
  • 1 year of firearm industry experience preferred

  • None

  • This position is considered sedentary and involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone, and stoop/kneel to handle computer equipment
  • The employee may be required to exert up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include near acuity at 20 inches or less due to computer work
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee will experience a moderate noise level (i.e. business office with computers, phone, printers, and light traffic)
  • Regular attendance is required to perform the duties of this job
