Description

The temporary Compensation Analyst, under the direction of the VP of Total Rewards, will be responsible for research, development, and implementation of the organization’s compensation structure and programs. Through internal and external analysis, the temporary Compensation Analyst will be the expert in labor costs, compensation analysis and structures. This role will develop programs, processes and structures to optimize hiring and maximize employee retention.

 

Your Responsibilities Would Include…

  • Analyze, develop, align and maintain compensation programs and policies (including base pay, at risk and variable compensation programs, rewards/recognition programs, etc.) to meet business objectives
  • Conduct benchmarking studies and participate in salary surveys, survey selection and job matching
  • Review job descriptions and market data to determine the scope of employee responsibilities and requirements, and job placement in pay structure
  • Conduct impact analysis and make recommendations/action plans
  • Conduct internal research and analysis to assess compensation programs, policies and procedures across multi-state locations
  • Analyze effectiveness of pay programs and make recommendations to optimize and/or remove ineffective plans. Prepare reports with rationale and conclusions
  • Ensure integrity of appropriate position-related data in HRIS System as well as compliance with federal and state laws
  • All other duties as assigned


Requirements

Some Experience/Skills You Will Need…

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and HRIS systems
  • Proficient with compensation research and data analysis

 

It Would be Nice if You Had…

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field Familiarity with the recruitment life cycle
  • 2+ years’ experience as an Analyst
