Purpose of Position:

The eLearning Coordinator will play a key role in planning, designing, developing and coordinating eLearning courses on critical and timely topics. They will help create visually compelling, interactive, scenario-based micro learning courses that drive positive learner outcomes through engaging, role-specific content. This role will coordinate with team members, contribute to the course content and design, and ensure the courses meet the highest quality standards through thorough testing.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Review, collaborate and synthesize content from subject matter experts, partners and reputable, research-based resources
  • Write concise, compelling course descriptions and clear learning objectives
  • Design and develop learning solutions, programs and templates applying learning principles and systematic instructional design to create learning content that best fits the needs of the learner (includes video, online, virtual instructor-led training, and blended learning content)
  • Leverage rapid, agile development techniques and processes to create content for a rapidly changing environment. Support process improvement efforts
  • Develop knowledge check questions and realistic role-based scenarios that reflect the course objectives and content
  • Organize course files such as content documents, storyboards, eLearning files, narration scripts, audio files, and multimedia assets to ensure correct versions are accurately cataloged for each course
  • Test completed courses for functionality, quality, & timing and recommend edits to improve accuracy and learner experience
  • Develop and use metrics to lead needs analyses and learning strategy development activities to improve individual and organizational performance through learning
  • All other duties as assigned



  • Strong knowledge of LMS (Learning Management Systems)
  • Experience in curriculum development, medium to large scale programs working cross-functionally with multiple teams and stakeholders
  • Familiarity with online learning and technology, instructional, graphic, and/or web design or development skills
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task, working on multiple courses concurrently
  • Ability to absorb large amounts of information and translate to consumable edits
  • High level of reliability, dedication and initiative


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, Human Resources, Education or related field required
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in learning design, training development and eLearning required
